If one of my dogs needs medicine for any reason, I will dispense this medicine in with their dog food. Since each dog will have their own bowl for their food, another dog wouldn’t be eating that the ill dog should be consuming. I have learned that mixing the medicine with the dog food, the dog would simply consume the pill, and not think anything of it. This means the dog will consume the medication without having to force it down their throat. When my last dog had muscle cramps, I would place a single 80mg Aspirin with his food, and the Aspirin always helped, and my dog thought nothing of it.
